Arosh hails from Pelawatte, Battaramulla and was an English teacher before he decided to follow his passion and become a tour guide. Shanjei Perumal, a former advertising executive from Colombo, who quit his job because he didn’t want to be confined to the concrete jungle of Colombo. He chose Galle Fort as he was obsessed with this fascinating living legend and became a full-time tour guide to assist the beautiful people who want to explore Galle Fort, differently.
Mohan
A middle-aged, well experienced, guide who has a vast knowledge about history and insights of the Jaffna Peninsula. Since he grew up in the northern region of the country with his family, he has a thorough insight about the day-to-day activities and the native people. Previously, he has worked in various fields but now he is a full-time guide because he chose to follow his passion.
Anura
Anura is 28 years old and was born in Mirissa, where he now lives with his mother, father and sister. After graduating from school in Matara, he did a mechanical apprenticeship at BAFF. Afterwards, he was trained in boat building and sail making as well as diving. Before going into working on the boat, he worked at BAFF Polymech (shipyards and electrical repair shops). He gained lots of sailing experience and is now the captain of the boat “Pearl” and works as a sailing instructor as well. Six months of the year he works in the Eastern seas.
