Batticaloa
Batticaloa is one of the major cities and the former capital of the Eastern Province in Sri Lanka. It is currently the administrative capital of the Batticaloa District and home to the Eastern University of Sri Lanka. It is on the east coast, 69 miles south of Trincomalee.
