There will be opportunities to engage in photography and take in the breathtaking views along your route. After experiencing Ella Rock, followed by a hearty Sri Lankan lunch, you will be transferred to Demodara in time to witness the trains passing the famed Nine Arch Bridge. Kitulgala also attracts outdoor enthusiasts because of its beautiful scenery, which was also used in 1956 as a location for the filming of the Academy Award-winning film 'The Bridge on the River Kwai'. It is also home to many species of endemic birds and one of the most important sites for the country’s biodiversity. Trek along the nature trails and forests that are ideal for bird watching or go canyoning through rocky gorges.
