Nishantha Abeysekara

Nishantha Abeysekara, who is the brains behind the concept, will guide you through this unique experience. Nishantha’s journey began as a humble waiter at Tilly’s Beach Hotel after which he had stints at Triton Hotel and Taj Samudra as a management trainee. After a string of promotions in the Food and Beverage Department, he was appointed as the Manager of the hotel’s buzzing nightclub. After three years at Taj Samudra, he worked for a short period at Hotel Lanka Oberoi before honing his skills in the UAE and Bahrain at Hotel Khorfaken and the Holiday Inn respectively. He later returned to Sri Lanka to turn Star Club into one of the most successful and prestigious operations in Colombo.

Now, Nishantha is a restaurant owner and has taken the travel trade by storm with his Colombo by Jeep concept which allows clients to experience Colombo in style but to also enjoy driving through its streets in vintage jeeps.
