Tour in brief

Sri Lanka is one of the most famous surfing destinations that cater to all experience levels. Since the early 60’s Sri Lanka has been a popular surfing destination and attracts surfers from all over the world.
Hikkaduwa is on the southwest coast and the best season to be here is between November and March. The weather gods grace Hikkaduwa with dry skies while the rest of the island is battered by monsoon rains.
We will be conducting a 15 minute preparation class on the beach to teach 'surfing basics' before heading out into the water to teach surf fundamentals & safety protocols. Our local surfing instructors will closely monitor each and every individual during the sessions. Each individual will be able to upgrade their surfing skills to the next level. The goal will be to eventually catch a wave on your own.

Suitable casual clothing for current weather conditions should be considered

About the Hikkaduwa

The surfing capital of Sri Lanka’s southwest coast, Hikkaduwa, is a small town in the Galle District towards the southern tip of the island. This is the most developed surfing town on the island – there are cafes and bars on the strip, as well as surf schools, and rental shops. The beautiful coral attracts divers and snorkelers. Surfing is best in Hikkaduwa during the season of November to March each year. It is an international surf destination with perfect waves for all surf levels.
